Hersheypark Stadium Rules
Food and Drink
Food and drink from outside the venue, including all alcoholic beverages, is not permitted inside Hersheypark Stadium, unless guests have medical restrictions/conditions. Baby food and formula is permitted for guests with small children. Venue personnel reserve the right to refuse the entry of any food or drink item. Alcoholic beverages may not be brought into nor taken out of the venue and guest may be requested to provide photo I.D. Upon their purchase. Hershey Park Stadium reserves the right to refuse alcohol service to anyone that appears to be inebriated or cannot provide valid photo identification.
Camera Policies
During all professional productions inside Hershey Park Stadium, video recording devices are strictly prohibited. So long as the following guidelines are adhered to, simple cameras are permitted:
Simple cameras are defined as still photograph cameras that do not have detachable lenses, or cameras with an attached lenses of less than 2.5”x3.0”.
Video recording using a cell phone camera is not allowed, however, cell phone cameras are permitted.
Tripods and monopods are not allowed.
It is requested that guests are courteous to those around them when taking pictures.
Cameras and cases are subject to search upon entering the venue.
Recording of Events
Unauthorized filming, video or audio taping, photographs, records, and all other depictions of Hersheypark Stadium and/or events are prohibited.
Prohibited Items
Weapons are considered to be any item that could endanger public safety, and all weapons are prohibited. Firearms, knives, mace, and chains are all examples of weapons. The venue reserves the right to refuse the entry of any item that could be considered a weapon.
Glass bottles, cans, hard-sided coolers, Thermos flasks and open containers may not be brought into the venue for the safety of guests, with the exception of baby bottles.
An Items Check is available at the Box Office for a cost of $3.00 for all major Hersheypark Stadium events. Please note, certain items may not be accepted, in which case guests will be directed to take them back to their vehicle. The venue is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items.
These following items are not permitted:
Umbrellas, glow sticks, spike jewelry, wallet chains, aerosol cans, selfie-sticks, large bags and backpacks, coolers, inflatable items, beach balls, laser pointers, signs, banners, flags, lawn chairs, outside food and beverages (including alcoholic beverages), illegal substances, and video or audio recording devices
Searches
Guests should be prepared to have all hand carried items open and ready for inspection and venue reserves the right to inspect and search all guests. This includes, but is not limited to, hand carried items such as bags, purses, camera cases, etc. The use of metal detection devices for all guests upon entry has been implemented by the venue. It is recommended that guests arrive at least 45 minutes prior to event start time and bring only essential items to the venue.
Signs
The policy regarding signs may be modified depending upon the requests of the artists/performers, due to the variety of events and performances. Signs must only be made from cloth, paper or other light, flexible materials. Signs may only be displayed in a stationary manner, within the venue seating area, so as not to unduly obstruct any person’s view of the playing surface or the performance area and so as not to obscure venue signage. Signs may not bear messages that are slanderous, obscene, vulgar, indecent, or inappropriate for viewing by children.
Smoking
A smoke-free environment is maintained by Hershey Park Stadium. Smoke-free areas include: all guest rooms, corridors, and public/meeting spaces. Guests may enjoy a cigarette in any of the limited designated smoking areas around the property. Venue smoking policies also extend to e-cigarettes and guests are asked to refrain from using e-cigarette products in all smoke-free areas.
